ABSTRACT

The purpose of this cross-cultural investigation is to explore the degree to which cultural influences impact parenting styles and the psychological effects that result from those methods. The purpose of this study is to find both similarities and variations in approaches to child raising by comparing parenting methods across a variety of cultural situations. Through the provision of a detailed knowledge of the intricate relationship that exists between culture, parenting, and child development, the research contributes to the creation of treatments and support systems that are culturally responsive.
